Old Pulteney 30 year old has just been released for sale and I was lucky enough to try it at a preview tasting. Safe to say it is absolutely amazing - full of citrus and floral notes like the younger Old Pulteneys, but with tropical hints on the nose. It's a very complex dram, but with a freshness that is rare in such an old whisky.
